| The 'Bowling Green' is leamington spa's oldest town hall. The are records of this pub trading in 1625. This makes its history very important. Not only in local history but also in UK history. It is in need of a refurb so still has its 70's decor. This does mean that it's got a lot of charm. If you are in the area please pop in. The Bowling Green, New Street Leamington Spa. | Just been to the new Voodoo - never going again! went for a quiet drink on fri evening after work and yes its bigger and has better selection of beers. But we were sitting outside, the place was mostly empty and a bouncer came to us accusing us of smoking 'something' - didnt make us feel welcome at all (we werent by the way). | Voodoo is still a good place to go. Drinks are a little expensive but you don't get the old alcoholics like you do in the trashy places. Voodoo defiantely in my top 3 bars to go to in Leam. trendydeb - 4 Aug 2006 14:57 |
| I like Voodoo - we have never had bad service. It is cramped though, needs the layout changed around. Music is normally good but sometimes does not fit the time of day. I would not eat here because the menu is quite boring. Drinks are over-priced but there are good-looking people so it depends what your priorities are! sarahtis24 - 27 Apr 2006 15:07 |
