I've only been in there once to have a meal. From what I remember the atmosphere was pleasant & the food was ok. Definately worth a visit. Craig Alexander I HAVE MY LIFE (http://www.ihavemylife.com) craigalexander - 23 Sep 2011 21:00
This pub has theme nights in the restaurant, when steak or fish are the speciality. Visited on a 'Fish Night' and the entrance to the restaurant was set out like a Fishmonger's Shop. You chose your fish ( I had Sea Bass), which was weighed and you paid for it according to its weight. A wide range of vegetables were included in the price. Five real ales were on offer: Courage Directors, Wadworth Horizon, Fullers London Pride, Ringwood Best and Ringwood Thumper. I settled for the Directors and it was first rate. Well recommended for both beer and food. BazzersTravels - 1 Aug 2010 22:10
Visited on a walk with a group from Ashurst in early April. Good range of draught beers, had the Ringwood if I recall correctly. Food looked to be a good selection but most of us settled for a baguette. Mostly were very good but I went for cheese with sweet pickle - not recommended! It was finely grated plastic cheddar with a dollop of Branston. Avoid this one but the rest looked good. Iliacus - 23 May 2010 16:01
