| Shame, used to be a brilliant pub about 10 years ago but it is now very nondescript; a fairly bland pub which could be so good. | A nice village pub. I found the current manageress to be a little highly strung. She told our table to quieten down because we were putting a pair of locals off of their meal. And I can honestly say we were hardly talking loud at all. The next time we visited, there were a crowd of around 9 or 10 farmers having a meal around a table, making so much noise we had to shout across the table to each other. Rules for some and rules for others? - Wasn't impressed and promptly left.
