| The 'Bowling Green' is leamington spa's oldest town hall. The are records of this pub trading in 1625. This makes its history very important. Not only in local history but also in UK history. It is in need of a refurb so still has its 70's decor. This does mean that it's got a lot of charm. If you are in the area please pop in. The Bowling Green, New Street Leamington Spa. | The are a lot of real good pubs in Leamington Spa. They have to be good because the always another option. 'Cask and Bottle' has a lovely warm atmosphere got talking to the locals and stayed far to long. It is nice for an outsider to be made so welcome! My Beer was beautifully served. The chap behind the bar know what he was doing and how to serve proper beer. I rated this place as 7. In terms of the rest it is a really nice all round pub. trains2064 - 20 Apr 2008 15:04 |
