| Strange name, although it is not a pub, just the bar of a hotel; the sort of hotel that the owners would classify as a "boutique" hotel, which means the guests want something more than the Holiday Inn but can't afford the Castle. The place has an interesting bar, seemingly made up from old wine cases which is a nice touch, somewhat spoilt by the industrial style beer font which looks to be made from the scrap yard of an old oil refinery, or reclaimed from a battleship or somesuch. Whitworth nuts and bolts have no place on a bar! They serve one cask ale; the ubiquitous Tribute, which was far from being in drinkable condition.
