| Backstreet boozer with a surprisingly friendly welcome from the pleasant down to earth staff and sharon the landlady. No real ale yet which is a downer, but its coming in a few weeks. May not be the safest place on a friday or saturday night, but nice enough for an early morning pint (opens 11, sometimes earlier) before heading off to the marble (opens 12). Pool table and the fact that this is the last remaining pub on Bengal st (of Gangs of Manchester Bengal Tigers fame) make this one worth popping into Saleblu - 13 Sep 2010 14:00 |
