| Nice refit, but they never seem to have any beers on, despite displaying a wide range. I'd had this problem before Christmas and gave up on the place, tried it again today and just the same, the staff are all miserable as sin and/or confused with things, its a real shame. | After getting quite excited at a good range of real ales in a pleasant environment with firendly staff on the High Street recent weeks have seen the selection available to be pretty sparse with only a choice of one or two beers. This weekend they had no ales on at all when we called in. Very disappointing to see so much effort and money spent on the recent refit only to be unable to deliver beer to their customers. | Rebranded after a year or so to 'The Grapevine' Interior a little brighter than before, though basically the same. New rooftop terrace added which is very nice. Not much choice on the beer front and didn't try the food after being unimpressed in the past. DudleyC - 22 Sep 2010 10:21 |
