Great pub still a bit student orientated but hey thats there clientèle The pub is big yet has nice areas to disappear into and chat with friends the only down side it needs a real good clean they need to get a grip of the cleaning regime its not just surface cleaning its a real deep clean thats needed apart from that great beer good atmosphere great landlord fun pub Paraflyer62 - 30 Jun 2011 15:46
Another pub where the price of a half pint is not the price of half of a pint !!!! mcroyal - 24 Sep 2010 21:31
A very nice pint of Caledonian was supped here a few weeks back outside in the sun. Nice friendly service and welcome, 7/10 fat_beer_badger - 9 Jul 2010 19:44
The Turks changed ownership in July 2008 and it's a much better place for it. The landlord is often mixing with the locals and the pub now serves a good range of quality food. Three ale pumps with ever changing beers is also a plus, as they're well cared for. adeptruddle - 19 Feb 2010 15:56
Surprised there's been no comments in over two years! Well, the place has had another change in ownership and there's now a partition door to break up the two bars, plus a few extra pot plants. Usually serves up 2-3 ales, the quality is very inconsistent (as is the service) so I wouldn't particularly recommend a visit unless you want a game of table football. Quinno - 13 Jul 2009 20:51
