| Excellent pub. Fine range of beers, on my visit there was Marble Manchester, Phoenix, Titanic (2 types including a rare mild) amongst many others. Unfortunately they didn't have Thornbridge beers on my visit, but otherwise spoilt for choice. Food was fantastic, we had the sunday lunch. The interior is beautifully done and cosy. Staff lovely. Could not fault in any way - that's why they won best pub in Derbyshire. Scottie_chorlton - 1 Nov 2010 10:01 |
| Dan the landlord is a rare breed, he cares about what a pub should be like. The range of beers is excellent (Thornbridge on a regular basis (imho the best brewery in the land)) and the food is good as well as reasonably priced. Lovely old pub, welcoming and a place that is worth the 2 mile to from my house. physico - 2 Aug 2010 10:24 |
