Good luck to the new owners (the residents of Butlers Cross). I hope all goes well.
I would also expect to see a vast improvement, making it worth calling in again.

Two beers on tap, no lagers other than bottled. Came for Sunday lunch; service was painfully slow (1 hr 50 mins until the main courses arrived - and the pub wasn't busy, and all the other tables had a similar wait). Food was ok, when it arrived, but we won't be coming back.

Visited for dinner.....excellent choice.
Quality very good, prices not over the top.
Service friendly, (perhaps a little slow) but thats perhaps the price to pay for everything cooked to order and the place was very busy - no great issue however we were in no rush.
Was drinking wine, but beers looked good :- Spitfire, London Pride & Greene King IPA plus usual array of lagers.
Caters for the informal walk-in trade as well as "dolled-up diners".

Visitors comments book (open to all) was overflowing with compliments

Lovely easy relaxed Sunday lunch, food was great & staff were attentive. Not often you can say that when taking out the mother-in-law, even she enjoyed herself - many thanks!
