| Fairly typical Wetherspoon - beer quality usually OK, but not a large choice. The usual type of Spoons customers, who act as if they've been drinking for hours, even in mid morning! Nothing to write home about - the best thing is it's handy for the station. beerpilgrim - 10 Nov 2011 23:09 |

| I can understand, everybody is entitled to their opinion, i however have nothing negative to say about this pub. It is pretty good for food during the day, its not top restaurant quality, but its a pub and they serve the sort of meals you would expect to eat in a pub! the staff could do with smiling a bit more!! i have been in there during the week and also at the weekends. The weekends are completely different to what its like during the week, they have a Dj on a Friday & Saturday, Music is pretty good, Dj is friendly and gets the atmosphere going, Maybe he could play a little bit of cheese as myself and my partner are partial to a bit of spandau ballet!!! | Awful people and hopeless staff. You wait ages for a drink and the bar staff don't have a clue. This was a Slug & Lettuce before and the staff were fantastic - friendly, keen and helpful.
