Went to this pub on Wednesday lunchtime. Had lunch here, the menu was ok but limited. Did want fish and chips but one of the fryers not working. Beer selection very good, 4 real ales on. I think they were all local ones too. Nice patio beer garden out back, done a very good job with the limited space they have. About 5 mins walk from the bus station. rwjc22 - 16 Sep 2011 23:47
Now this is a great pub. The open room plan makes it welcoming, the staff and patrons are friendly and there's a decent little smoking area/garden out the back. There was a good range of ales available but didn't try those as there is also Krombacher on draught which, in my opinion (for what it's worth) is a great german beer. Only visited Northampton for a couple of days but spent two evenings here which says a lot. It's a real gem of a local pub. gravedigga - 24 Jul 2011 14:06
Lovely pub, good selection of well kept ales, great music (not too loud) and very friendly. Not tried any of the food so far other than the chips, but they're pretty good. Open mic night on a Monday, quizz on Wednesday, music quizz on a Thursday and live music over the weekends (other stuff goes on regularly too). diamondflamer - 29 Jun 2011 16:36
New owners have taken over and have changed it for the better. Sunday roast was cracking, good beer and the garden is coming along a treat, great little pub seanyboy666 - 30 Mar 2010 16:25
