| I think this is the oldest pub in Beverley, been extended over the years. Now has live bands and is a popular place. Original parts still exist if you look around. Beers good but are very pricey. Check it out! noggin46 - 23 Oct 2011 20:42 |
| The women-folk had gone to look round the Minster so this was a handy pub for us blokes!! Black Sheep Bitter;Taylors Landlord and Old Speckled Hen on tap. Beer was fine and they sell Seabrooks crisps!! Sunday lunches were still being served even though it was 4.30pm and the advertised music hadn't turned up so we had a chance for a chat and a pint. Friendly staff and not too far for us to get back to the station. Look out for the "cellar" door. Beams and wooden floors. Not a bad boozer at all although it may be a bit different when the live bands are playing. mcroyal - 29 Aug 2011 10:52 |
| Had a nice pint of "Landlord" here. Very busy with a nice atmosphere although went there to see the advertised band. I don't know if they just didn't turn up or the advertisment was just meant to get you in there but didn't see any sign of them so moved on to the Oddfellows Arms (not listed here).
