| I visited this pub with the wife early evening on a Saturday. The DJ was warming the small but growing crowd up before the Karaoke started. Large pub with a bit of wasted space and it certainly felt a bit empty. Nice and friendly staff, they even kept the tele on so I could finish watching the boxing! 3 real ale pumps on the bar but they only had 2 ales on tap, one was a very poor M&B Mild and the other was a very good Spitfire, good price for the pints so all in all a fairly decent pub...though the plough and sail over the road has a bit more life character. lezford - 7 Feb 2011 13:04 |
