| This pub is now a Tommy Flynn's. As far as I could tell, it's almost exactly the same as it was 4 years ago, but I had to leave after 30 seconds as the front half stank of piss due to clientele and the back half stank of piss due to the gents toilet opening directly into the pub. Didn't spot any customers leering over the barmaids, getting weirdly involved in pub owner politics and saying things like "happy days", though, so that's one bonus. bbx1138 - 5 Mar 2015 13:26 |
| This pub is dodgy. Full of 'geezers' in and out of the toilet with rolled up 5 pound notes and aggressively shouting across the bar at each other. In fairness there is also a contingent of perfectly respectful old Irish fellas drinking themselves into a stupor but perfectly peacefully also. | Doing much better these days. New landlord who seems quite a decent guy. Had a bit of trouble in there lately I heard so the police have put it back on their radar sadly. Had the interior and exterior painted but you need sunglasses to go inside due to the colours! The person who decided on such a mish-mash of colour should be strung up! | Open again and doing well.Nancy is back and Michelle the govnor is fine,entertainment weekends.Being done up outside but needs it inside.Us unfriendly lot,whom have drunk here for 15+ years are still around so hopefully complete and utter tools like bbx1138 will stay away.Happy days! super - 25 Mar 2011 13:14 |
