| This pub is awesome - amazing real ales and a wide variety of draft lager available. i understand the lines are cleaned every week which makes for a fresh pint everytime. The staff are extremely friendly, and the landlord understands his customer needs, hence it is more of a liquid establishment. | A great little pub that serves good beer. They have a fair selection of american whisky which isn't often seen in the area. As everyone pretty much knows everyone else it may seem a little unwelcoming to newcomers. But challenge someone to a game of pool and you'll find the regulars are a friendly bunch.
