The pub no longer serves Thai food, just a traditional pub-grub menu. Prices are the cheapest in the area, and you get plenty of food for your money. The sunday roasts at £6.95 are recommended.

Trad pub with good selection of ales; and bowls of chips available from the bar. Also there's a neighbouring room serving more substantial food (typically Thai stir-fries) until 10 PM, which I'll def try on my next visit. During our stay the large TV above our heads suddenly came on at maximum volume. The barmaid took pity on us and turned it down - but not off, which was curious as no-one was watching it. The pub was surprisingly empty for such a good location on the main crossroads at the centre of Overton, so I can only wonder if all unwelcome customers are given the 'TV treatment'!

A proper village pub, good beer, and brilliant company!!

The beer could be kept better, but it's a great pub, with regular live music at the weekends. Karaoke nights are always the most popular night on the pubs calendar.

Characterful, genuinely half timbered, rambling old building. Two bars, a smaller lounge with traditional furnishing mainly for dining and a larger, strangely furnished, bar with clapped out sofas, poker tables and some very big tellies, it appears to host the Sky Thursday night poker club. There is also a room devoted to a pool table. A range of beers from regional and micro brewers on 4 pumps but sadly not very well looked after. Plain white walls and old photos of the village which appears to be the house style for Overton! A great old building with probably massive but unrealised potential.
