After starting with 3 St Austell Brewery pub, we were glad to find some different ales on sale in the Watermill - Sharps Doom Bar, Skinners Betty Stogs & Bays Devon Dumpling. The watermill itself can be seen on entering through the rear garden, which I can imagine is lovely in summer. Meals seem to be the focus here, but it also seemed to be popular with a relatively young drinking clientele. A nice place with friendly staff.

As promised, We ate here on Good Friday. Good job we booked before, we arrived early for our 7.30pm table. and already pepole were being told they were fully booked. The food was good, the service was attentive and the beer is kept well. we were not disappointed. where ROB54 went I do not know but give it a go. staff poliet and quick service.

Eaten here 4 times this year, and it's excellent as always. The beer is always well kept, the staff well trained and friendly, and the pub always clean and pleasant.

The proprietor, Frank Symes, knows his stuff and is regularly behind the bar. He is certainly not a complete basket case - I think ROB54 may have some allegiance to the Old Quay House...

The best pub in Lelant, and the best food for miles around - 10 out of 10.

Ate here in May 2009, going back to Hayle Easter 2011, will give this a go. Last time food lovely, landlord pleasant. Hopefully not changed hands again or as last report a complete basket case. Always worth giving somewhere a go and making own mind up.
