| Cellar bar that majors on live music. It’s a rock pub and that is pretty obvious as soon as you enter the bar. Two pool tables on a raised area to the left and comfortable seating to the right, also has 2 quiz machines. 3 handpumps on the bar serving Adnams Bitter, Ruddles County and Abbott Ale, not the most inventive selection of ale. Had a pint of the Adnams which was on special offer for Cask Ale Week at only £2. It’s usually £2.30, still very reasonable for Harrogate. It was pretty quiet as it was late afternoon but I bet it’s a lot busier later on. It's OK but I doubt if we'd make a special effort to visit again. ROBCamra - 5 Jun 2009 13:03 |
