| I think the previous review pretty much sums up this place quite well. The one handpull had Higsons Bitter on it. But when we requested a pint, they had none. So that left just the keg options - Tetleys Smoothflow & Dark Mild, Carling, Strongbow, Carlsberg, Guinness & San Miguel. Football was being shown on the TV screens. | Nothing special about this place. They serve a cheap pint of Higsons. During the day it attracts several oldies watching the racing. In the evening it gets a bit busier, and at the weekends it's one of the overspill pubs for the Vines (big house) so attracts the usual 40+ age group clientele who make a lot of noise and get pissed on a few shandys. mattbeer - 14 Apr 2012 15:46 |
