| I visited on a Saturday lunchtime whilst walking the Capital Ring from Woolwich to Falconwood. It seems like a good, local, basic boozer. They had Courage Best and Directors, and the Best was in fine fettle. Only bar snacks were available so we had ham and pickle baps, which had thick slices of good ham in them. Outside in the forecourt was a seafood stall, with cockles, whelks, garlic prawns, breaded claws and lots more.
