| Newly refurbished and under new management, this pub has a great friendly atmoshphere. We travelled here from Huddersfield to watch them play against Rochdale. Only ten minutes walking distance from Rochdale's ground this pub is in a great location. Food and service was fantastic. There is a large car park where staff were more than happy to let us leave our cars, and also a large decking out the front, which would of been fantastic if the rain held off. Great value, great service, would definitley recommend. nf123 - 13 Aug 2011 15:08 |
| This was once a very good comfortable pub with a couple of handpumps and a friendly buzz every time you went in. Sadly it’s had several refurbishments since then and it’s now a large chavvy lager barn with a DJ/Loud music from TV screens. It’s got very little to recommend it anymore for the average drinker. Identikit peroxide blonde bar staff and customers. £6.60 for a pint of Becks and a G & T, what a rip off. We won’t be visiting again anytime soon. ROBCamra - 5 Jun 2009 11:23 |
