| Quite a lot of investment has gone into this country pub situated as the end of a small terrace in a hamlet between Staplehurst and Headcorn. As you would expect, the food side of things has developed in recent years but there is still a pool table and a decent-sized beer garden with some play equipment for the youngsters. There is usually a couple of well-kept real ales on (typically Harveys and Pride or Spitfire).
