Remarkable maze of a pub with several buildings and rambling areas to wonder through. The room we sat in was down to earth and unaltered, as were the gents. Just a little too busy and service suffered as a result but it’s very much an iconic old institution. JonNgog - 29 Oct 2019 10:27 |
Music orientated bar - as traditional as you can get - from the furniture (all wood) to the gents (proudly standing right next to the bar). Great place, if you can get a seat! Mappiman - 23 Apr 2019 10:42 |
Expanded garden bar has helped the nightly crowds. richardo - 10 Nov 2014 19:28 |
This was my favourite pub when I lived in Dublin! Great atmosphere, great live music, great staff, it is good for the rugby and you can even get a toasted sandwich! Also relatively child free...which for a drinking establishment is getting harder and harder to find! Twicks - 16 Sep 2011 13:20 |
Small, old, but publicans prompt and, Guinness fantastic! Courtyard has become a smoke house, so only hope is it's nice so you can go out back. richardo - 16 Mar 2010 20:20 |
