Like the pub and the customers but that landlady makes sure we all know she hates the job! johnny.sausage - 26 Feb 2011 17:57
Visited this pub recently. Felt very at home. Landlord and landlady were very jolly and fun. Had a lovely meal from their homecooked range. Even managed a dessert. Will definately be going back. Ivantheterrible - 25 Nov 2010 12:35
Four real ales ALL DARk and MALTY, all around 4.1% -4.2% abv. Where do publicans like this get the idea that this gives drinkers a choice? Golden ales, milds stouts, strong ales, porters.A clue for the landlord there surely! slerpy - 2 Aug 2010 13:17
Nice to find a non-Palmers pub in this area. Beer was good and welcome friendly, only stayed for a pint, but would return. Skittle alley and beer garden as previously mentioned in other reviews. lill1971 - 11 May 2010 14:16
Four real ales, two at two pounds a pint. All four were malty dark beers about 4.2% . This does not give the customer much choice. This pub is exceptionally long and thin. A pleasant garden at the rear and chairs and tables on the pavement. slerpy - 24 Aug 2009 14:41
