The Grid Inn is a fairly standard JD Wetherspoons pub a couple of minutes walk from Southfields tube station. Not one of their best ale wise, only one guest, and the staff don’t fill you with any great confidence. Attractive décor with loads of local photos and information.

Ha! I was a member of te barstaff here - from Feb 1996-June 1996.

It was a typical Wetherspoon when I worked there.

Far from the nicest place I've been, and I feared the worst on viewing the clientele. However, the very pleasant barmaid more than made up for this - why can't all bar staff be as friendly!

Good grief - this'll be the second good-to-OK review I'll have given for a Wetherspoons pub in a week. I recently went there on two successive thursday nights to eat, and it wasn't anywhere near as bad as this rating says. OK, the clientele were a teeny bit... loud and the barstaff on one occasion seemed to think I was invisible, but the food and drink was good value both times (Pedigree not too cold) and I'd go back to this place again. Is it just me?

This is probably one of the worst pub in JDWs portfolio. It's grim, grubby, smelly and full of locals and chavs. Since the smoking ban, the locals tend to stand out in the street and they are not the best advert for the pub.
