Sam smiths pub that's a bit further out from the town centre. At least 3 separate seating areas with two of the areas giving access to the bar, nice roaring fire on the side I was sat on. Usual selection of smiths beers with OBB on handpull at 2 pound a pint and well kept. A few pictures on the walls of pool and cricket teams knaresborough itself. Bar maid was friendly and locals seemed okay. Worth a visit if around the area.

On the wrong side of town which is why I hadn't visited before, but popped in for a quick one on Saturday to get out of the rain. Sam Smiths so you know what you're getting. Bitter was fine and can't argue with 1.80 for a pint. Busy on a wet afternoon with customers chatting to one another, so could be a pleasant place to spend a few hours.

Great homely Sam Smiths Boozer, No TV, No Music, just good sensibly priced beer in a friendly atmosphere, Open fires in winter months, a ral fav when we're in Knaresborough.

Lovely mutli-roomed pub with real fires (in January!). It's Sam Smiths so the prices are low. The decor was gorgeous but the landlady told me that the brewery was cleaning it up. She did try and assure me that it wasn't going to be ruined and I dearly hope that's the case. If I return to Knaresborough I will head here again.
