| We had our wedding reception at the pub some 7 years ago, just after it changed hands. Our meals were not very good so we stopped going. However the pub has changed hands again this year and locals were sayiing it was good, so we thought we would try it again. This was in June and the atmospher has improved together with the food. | My train was 40 minutes late so thought I would pass some time in this pub. Only three or four people in there made for a funereal atmosphere and lack of natural light made the place generally gloomy. Beer was no great shakes either. John - 3 Aug 2003 19:54 |
