A new build on a new development around the canal at Apsley. Wasn't exepcting a lot from it but for a large food orientated drinking barn it wasn't too bad and the Dark Star Crème Brulee (the ale that is not an after dinner dessert) was quite drinkable.

Fantastic location for a standard Fullers pub. Occasionally has an interesting guest (e.g. Red Squirrel) otherwise usual stuff, reasonably well kept.

Pretentious, overpriced, not very good food.

Service at the bar is often laughable with glass collection/chatting/invisible essential tasks given preference over serving the punters.

When we moved to the area in 2012 the food was good and well-priced. Since then the quality of the food has gone down, but prices have risen. Still a nice place for a pint, with plenty of room if you have kids (or want to sit away from them!) but food could be much better.

Went there today for the first time in ages. Many different ales on so I tried the ESB and each was served in the proper glass (the new handled one). My missus had the house red (Syrah) which she really liked. Service was OK if you hit the bar at the right time, but you could be in for a wait, despite there being 3-4 people serving. £3.85 / pint for ESB - on par with some London establishments but with many people living near by working in London, not surprising..

This is a large modern Fullers pub just off the main road and by the canal with narrow boats parked up

Christmas market was being set up on one side of the pub, in the middle was a real log fire burning...it wasn't too cold outside but it’s a great addition.

4 Fullers beers on hand pump Red Fox @ 4.2%, Traitors Gate, Pride and HSB with Honey Dew on gravity.

The pint of Red Fox I had was very good, average price of £3.80 a pint.

Nice pub but its definitely aimed at families more than regular drinkers like myself...worth a visit though.
