I like this place. Can always get a seat and usually has two or three nice ales going. jonjonjon - 17 Aug 2009 12:59
Nice pub...welcoming and cosy...but watch out for the one with the glasses who frequently falls off a stool at the end of the bar pretty early on..normally hangs out with two young mouthy chicks and a Dane LOL. I'm kidding..ish ;-) They have have top acts on such as Laura harding so the live music nights are something to write home about. Luce26 - 12 Feb 2009 14:11
Not bad at all - friendly and welcoming pub - I presume a GK house going by the IPA and Abbot available on handpump, but there was a guest ale served from a cask behind the bar. The GK was pretty drinkable. The pub is big, and goes back a fair way from the road. Service was friendly. Will pop in here next time I'm in Streatham. grecian - 24 Nov 2008 11:15
In there a week ago, good food, friendly bar staff (cool boss and take no shit bar lady) and wasted merry locals - a slice of life. They have guest ales which are behind the bar but conditioned - tell you what is in and what is coming. Recommended. Live music Saturday nights. Much better than the Horse and Groom, slightly better than Taylors, up there with the Leigham and the Bedford Park but probably not quite as good as the Leigham. It might ruin it, but I can't help hankering for live football to be shown in there. mfawkner - 17 Sep 2008 13:42
