| Nice enough coaching inn which we found half way along a way from Baslow and up over the edges. Nice enough inside with log burner and collection of newspapers. | won the debry and the peak pub of the year it was o k on my visit but not outstanding it is set in a wonderfull location the drinkks available were black sheep tt landord and kelham island pale rider which was in good order the food menu was quite extensive i had rump of derbyshire lamb on a potato rosti with fresh spring greens the lamb was perfect pink in the middle i could not fault the meal my partner had a roast ham ciabbatta with chips which were of the frozen pack variety but the dish came with a lovely chunney 3 drinks and food came to �28 which i thought aint too bad but to win an award on my experience there theyve been lucky anonymous - 1 Jun 2009 14:07 |
