| I have to totally disagree with paul.kelvey - 5 Sep 2010. Run down? I visited this pub in the summer. The garden terrace is full of beautiful flowers and plants, which the land lady is passionate about. I also noticed that they have re-branded the pub with NEW signage etc. This pub looks the best it has in years. The inside is clean, and the staff seem to strive to keep it this way. They have quirky pictures and books around the bar, and a pub restaurant layed up with table clothes is rare. I wish I could visit this pub more ( I live in London ). The food is brillaint, you can tell its all fresh and cooked to order, and the set menus are great value for money. The staff, including the land lord, are great fun! miss.belle - 10 Oct 2010 23:15 |
