| This is a really old pub with a fascinating history. Four real ales in good condition. Menu is quite large and prices moderate to quite high. Service quick and good. Cooking was excellent. I was with over a dozen other people and all were happy. And some of us are quite capable to moaning and complaining. | the current owner- manager is rarely to be seen and We believe the place would benefit from a more hands on approach. The food is very good quality but the service very variable indeed.
