| The Old Ford Inn is a roadside pub on the A40 in lovely countryside. The car park was packed and it was clear why when we got inside to see many people tucking into the obviously-popular Sunday lunches. The Rev James was the solitary real ale. With no tables to be had inside, we chose to enjoy some rare Welsh sunshine in the narrow beer garden overlooking fields and the Brecon Beacons beyond.
