This place has gone way up in my estimation after their hosting of Canada Day yesterday. First of all, they sold Sleeman's beers at a discount for the celebrations, including Sleeman's Pale Ale which I had never seen before. Secondly, they had Thwaites's Lancaster Bomber on the handpull, which is my favourite English ale.

The atmosphere there was great, and a perfect contrast to The Maple Leaf, which has screwed their Canadian customers over, and loves to fleece people on Canada Day. I still think the place draws undesirables on Friday nights, but the owners clearly care about trying to give the customers what they want.

Interesting place this, in that it at least tries to have an extensive range of beers available, it doesn't lazily default to the usual suspects and standard line-up.
Sure not everything will always be available but the range remains impressive.
Tastefully done out and worth a visit in a stretch of Covent Garden that doesn't have bags of imagination in terms of bars.

Mind the stairs though sunbeam.

This place has a great look and vibe about it
My first visit, quite packed, didnt wait too long too get served, so further decisions about the place will be reserved, but ill happily return

The music is also a treat

Half of the 'world beers' on the menu are never stocked, which is annoying. Mrs Quinno also had an issue in here with the food and a surly bar manager here a while back.

Staff quality varies - I've had some excellent service punctuated with others who seem to busy chatting to their mates the other side of the bar or serving attractive girls before everyone else.

Novelty has worn off, I'm busting down my mark for this place, sadly.

I hate to admit it but I like this place, its fun wantering around the multiple levels to find a spot. The beers are great I thought, my favourite was the Oyster stout though you couldn't drink too many of them.
