| Stopped here on our recent boating trip on the Llangollen canal, was the worst pub we went in. First impressions were not good, smell of vinegar hits you as you enter the pub door. The beer also smelt of vinegar or was a bit cloudy and flat, I guess the emphasis is on food. The landlord has a strange sense of humour. Looked at the menu and decided it was too expensive, wish we had stopped elsewhere, I would say the Poachers Pocket is a better choice.
