| The Croen has much improved, full of life now and a great social venue. Pool & juke box are great and much need to bring a bit of life to the ditton. julietturnbull - 15 Jun 2008 13:56 |

| Always seems very dead to me.....if you don't count the seriously loud music. Why oh why do landlords feel the need to do this? lawrence17 - 11 Aug 2007 18:00 |
| Well lets just say this place doesn't serve food anymore. Back to a typical boozer, pool table, juke box, underage kids.... say no more...... anonymous - 26 Jul 2007 10:17 |
| Very mediocre experience here on Mothers' Day. Infact below mediocre. No flowers on tables, no extra staff - nothing to indicate anyone had given any thought to the day. Meal was poor for a gastro style pub. Starter minimal and slow - 2 prawns. Kedgeree was stodgy and microwave heated (apparently), chicken dry and tough, vegetables tired. It really was a poor imitation of something else. The next day I went and had lunch in Portobello Road at the same price and so, so much better. A good manager needs to grab this place by the scruff of the neck and get the menu and preparation sorted out. One person waiting tables on Mothers' Day is very amateurish indeed.
