I was taking my friend who was visiting round a few of the pubs and had this on the list because it is a good value pub and the beer is excellent. However when they did not accept his PASS ID card at the bar, I drank up quickly and we left rather disappointed. A shame really, as it's one of the better pubs around. Surprisingly good considering it is Greene King and looks like a suburban roadhouse pub (well it is really). Several beers on and the atmosphere was ok. rainlight - 8 Aug 2011 11:38 |
First class! I'd reccomend this to anyone who's considering a pub crawl in Winter's Bridge and Surbiton. Impressive range of bar snacks and service is always quick. stevefromharlow - 27 Jul 2011 13:20 |
What to make of what is my nearest pub??? Well its busier than it has been for a while, the young manager has a young staff and seems to be evolving a locals pub. I got the impression that whilst the service was fine if you wern't recognised by the staff you wern't supposed to be there. Beer ok, food wise seemed to be a "all you can eat for a fiver" barbaque. loveleedshatebates - 31 May 2011 15:35 |
