| I am interested to find out if there is a poster in the Dolphin Inn that describes in detail a wreck sale of part of the cargo of the ship Nereid which was wrecked off the coast of England on Dec. 17, 1797. A friend of mine who lives near me, in British Columbia, has the said poster and he thinks it is original. I am wondering if there are replicas out there printed in modern times and his is probably one of those and thus worth nothing. I have not been to the Dolphin Inn but if I ever come to Penzance, I will stop by for a pint - of ginger ale. (sorry, me no drinkie.) Yardley - 14 Mar 2009 01:37 |
