| Visited this place primarily for a meal as they served a very nice Brill, a particular favourite fish. It was nice but expensive. The beer was good - nice to find a beer other than Doom Bar - Sharp's Own I think it was. | had food here ages ago but the nightmare haunts me, crab barley risotto with out any crab in it, and mash potato that had so much pepper in it my partner could not eat it. service was ok and the girls were nice left them a tenner tip for the service not a penny for the food. | I had a very bad experience at The Navy in Penzance. Whilst enjoying a pint with my friends, I picked up the candle, only to be told by the chef that, in a very aggressive way, that I should not touch it as it cost more that the profit he makes on a barrel of beer. | Had a nice meal of local fish in here. The Doom Bar was good, but what is on the far left pump? Throughout our time there, the barman spent all his idle time trying to pull something through there. When we left, the pubp still wasn't dispensing. I_love_Ellie - 29 Apr 2009 13:55 |
