| The bar and oak beams are the only part of the former Standings Cross pub that remains. The pub has been turned into a bright/shiny restaurant. The Sussex was incredibly good though, and the staff were friendly and didn't seem to be put out that we only went in for beer. It is still worth adding this to a pub crawl of the area.
