| Had beer and lunch here after a run with the Hash House Harriers. Driving, so not much chance to go through the beers, but a very nice pint of Otter. It's a nice pub in a lovely village. When the rain stops, I imagine the walking is stunning around here. But back to the pub itself, the food we had was superb ! Had quite the best Chicken Sunday lunch I can remember. | Have often stopped here for a 'swift one' on the way to Exeter but it was beginning to get run down. What a difference new owners and a lick of paint make! Friendly welcome and well kept beer, didn't eat but the menu looked good albeit nothing unusual. BobOs - 1 Oct 2008 18:02 |
