The Hope's currently under-going a refurb - apparently, there's going to be a Cocktail bar upstairs (bring it on). Unfortunately, this means the previously great beer garden is now a third of the size whilst the work takes place (and it can feel like drinking in a building site) but sure this is only temporary. Good place to watch the football, and for a summer's drink.

Rather bland and characterless one bar place ( can't really call it a pub ) - it's a Young's owned establishment, but I can't imagine there's much beer trade, not that type of place. My pint was distinctly average.

With The Landor not too far away, it's hard to see me doing this one if I'm ever in the area again
