| Today, Sunday, two friends and myself stopped at The White Hart for lunch. The food was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful contrary to what I hade been led to believe. I can thoroughly recommend this pub and the setting is idylic being next to Stopham Bridge and the river Arun. Give it a try. dxdave - 18 Sep 2011 17:20 |

| Stopped off here several times. Had pizzas in the garden, bad thing about the garden is that you cannot see the river for the tree's and there is a massive noisy generator in it. Pizzas were lush though, very nice and hot. Good price for good food. They sell brilliant Ales, local Arun ales. WELL DONE! Nice pub to sit on the bridge, come whilst having a walk or stop off from taking a trip up the river. | Quite a decent place. Although busy, they managed to cope fairly well. A good range of beers, those tried seemed fairly well kept. Mid-week seems to be a little heavy on the "Saga-generation" side (a party of ramblers arrived, some of whom actually were wearing plus-fours!), but that is true about most pubs in the South in mid-week nowadays. 7/10 HenPen - 22 Jan 2011 22:00 |
