I attended a family function here recently. The service was very poor, amateur at best and the food was so awful I can only say think twice before you go there. guildfordian62 - 15 Apr 2008 20:09
Popped in for a drink when it was miserable outside. Garden would be great on a pleasant day, as it leads down to the river. Beer pretty poor, and the place doesn't really cater for drinkers, although we were made fairly welcome. For some reason, not only was music blaring out, but also the TV was on full blast. Toilets also in an unpleasant state. Only worth a visit on a sunny day to sit by the river. SheffieldMickey - 1 Apr 2008 00:17
Biker just a quicky so to speak Argentinan beef is now banned in this country as they can not show the paper work back to the sauce of the meat.Think that says a bit ! PS still would not us this place service p... poor. Beersupper - 9 Mar 2008 15:50
If I said the previous review worries me slightly, I'd be seriously understating my personal view : "The steaks are really excellent, apparently imported from Argentina and well up to Argentine standard" Lets not bother with a discussion on 'air miles' and all that - why on earth is steak not being sourced locally or at least from within Britain. ?? I also notice that said reviewer has just recently joined this site. Click on usernames and you will see where others have been and what they've said about other pubs. PS what is "Argentine standard" compared to Aberdeen Angus ? Biker - 29 Feb 2008 09:58
