user reviews of Crown Rivers, Heathrow Airport

Watched England scrape by Argentina here with a very good pint of London Pride. Reasonable place to while away the minutes before your flight.

It's nice to be able to get a decent beer on the airside of an airport. The house beer, called 'The Crown Rivers', is quite pleasant (brewed for Wetherspoon by Loddon) and is not bad value at £2.59 a pint.

No atmosphere of course, but for an airside bar, a good range of excellent beers (though inflated by a Wetherspoon's festival). When some UK airport bars appear to be giving up on real ale altogether, it is good to see at least one that offers something worth drinking as one waits for yet another delayed flight. The food on offer is standard Wetherspoon and with prices not so inflated as most airside bars/restaurants

As you would expect from an airport bar, this Wetherspoon's has very little atmosphere. It's airside amongst the shopping centre that is Terminal 5. It does have its own beer - Crown Rivers Bitter, alongside Marston's Pedigree, Shepherd Neame Spitfire and Greene King Abbot Ale.
