| The Butchers is one of the friendlier, more pleasant pubs around Top Mossley but until recently it had no real ale and no ventilation and so a visit there for keg beer meant getting totally kippered in tobacco smoke. A year on from the smoking ban and it still smells of stale smoke but it is slowly diminishing & they are also selling 2 real ales. On last visit these were Courage Directors and one from local micro Greenfield. Closed daytime - opens teatime. No food. LittleFamilyFish - 13 Aug 2008 14:38 |
