| We rang Friday 30th Dec to see if we could book lunch for four adults and two children on New Years Eve the next day knowing that they would possibly be busy organising for New Year celebrations in the evening. Not a problem for them or their staff. Manager was very helpful on the phone. Chips were nice and crispy on our visit and staff were very pleasant and helpful to our party. | My last visit was not so successful, The chips were soggy and the food wasn't that great. I found the staff very nice and pleasant and always very helpful. I have used this pub a few times and the food can differ, I think it depends what chef is on duty at the time. But, 100% better that The Barley Mow, which I have written a review on. It is worth a visit, they have a few real ales on which makes a change, and it's a lot cleaner than the Banbury tip called "The Barley Mow" Trustme - 14 Apr 2009 13:44 |
