| Have visited this pub a few times and liked it. Today was sorely disappointed in very poor service. Waited one hour and forty minutes for a meal that was booked in advance. Was presented with a shepherds pie frozen in the middle. Politely sent it back . Received same meal again, but now the accompanying veg were cremated as it appeared to have been back to the microwave for a second visit. NOT GOOD ENOUGH... | I previously posted a review having a moan about the charm of the bar staff. On my latest visit I was pleasantly surprised. The bar staff couldn't have been nicer. Beer and surroundings still excellent.Keep up the good work!!! Wee_Paddy - 15 Feb 2007 07:40 |
| The best comment has to be "IKEA showroom with beer". Two refurbishments ago this was a great little boozer. One consolation the beer is still OK. Some interesting brews were available at the recent Embers Inn Beer Festival. Good beer, shame about the decor! Ginger_Beard - 19 Nov 2006 00:24 |
