Its one of the better spoons have been to, not too busy and every one seemed well behaved. The beer was above average spoons quality and the food was also above spoons average quality as well. Service was fairly quick but as per usual for a Weatherspoons they could have done with a couple more serving behind the bar.

That's right, the new managers have got this place heading in the right direction. The enlargement of the non-smoking area has also helped and it's now not so often that the Gpsy Kings of Liz Duke Bling serenade the entire pub with top tunes by Fiddy on the tiny, tinny speakers of their stolen mobile phones.

Hopefully this pub will lose it's reputation of being a place that serves poor quality beer, admitedly at a cheap price, to poor quality louts who can't take their drink and just want to fight. Since a new manager has taken over beer quality has improved, all we hope for now is for the undesirable element of the clientele to frequent the nearby dive (Prince Albert) instead.

go here if u r skint, very cheap beer indeed, but it does resemble the star wars bar in its diversity of patrons. sit in an alcove, dont make eye contact with anyone, ignore the sticky tables and smell of vomit and enjoy cheap as chips beer

Now they have bouncers on the door who wont let u in if u are wearing shorts or a hat. Have they forgotten that its just a wetherspoons pub! Since the bouncers have been there its got worse, Last night there was a massive fight in there. Its not a safe place to be anymore, people were getting glassed and hit with chairs every one else was running scared. So i'll see you there next friday??? Didnt think so...
